Interplay IP for sale

According to PCInvasion Interplay assets are up for sale http://www.pcinvasion.com/interplay-selling-videogame-ips-assets[/url] Just looking at the game list and with FreeSpace being mentioned I wonder if a certain Mr Smart might try to acquire it again.

Y'know, some dev studio wanting to get into the space sim genre could do a lot worse than gain the rights to a new Freespace game....

If I had the disposable cash I would buy Freespace and MDK. You remake or just even remaster those games you could make some money. MDK was a solid shooter and if you brush those graphics up and a maybe add VR you have a solid game. Same with Freespace, come'on devs you have the ability to make some money here redoing or making a sequel to these games.

Lot of games are getting remaster at the moment, so their might be a chance of some one doing that.

There is on steam mdk 2 hd...i was going to buy it but reading on the net i discovered it has big problems with amd cards...this problems has not been solved from developers. It's a shame! I have and amd card and i don't want to risk buying it.Perhaps the MDK's P.I. will be buy and a sequel will be made.
