I've been considering making my own girls only gaming clan. This girls only clan would have a partner clan for males. We wouldn't require a name change for any of your in-game names, and you'd be allowed to be in other clans. It would be more like a community than a clan. The clan would be multi-platform, meaning it plays games on all of the consoles and for PC. This is a message to all you girls here. If I made a girls only clan, would you be interested in joining it? If so, please send me a private message here and if I decide to make one, I'll invite you into the clan. Oh, and GIRLS ONLY, atleast until I get a male division created.

Reminds me of the Counter Strike female only competition a few years ago, can't remember the name. Mabye a division of ESWC or something.

Yes this is a good idea and I voted yes, but provisionally, but it would depend on what game is actually being played. For a long time I noticed that female players were all too often targeted while online and this drove me to play certain online games by stealth, hiding the fact I was female. If you have an visible female group I do worry if that clan would be targeted again as there are nasty people out there who take the term "griefter" to a new (lower) level.Speaking just for myself, I am well past the stage of being bothered what some people might say or do while I was in multiplayer, but some young girls might get upset and feel threatened. Which may go to show why getting girls interested in space sims can be a difficult prospect at times.
