hyperspace decoder bug

hyperspace decoder has never worked for me on FFE3d so out of curiosity at an assassination mission today i decided to try the origonal dos box version and to my astonishment, the decoder worked! i then went back into 3d and flew around until the guy jumped and then saved it with a purpose of loading that mission to see where he went in the origonal dosbox version and the decoder failed like on the 3d version? perhaps something is missing in the code somewhere? does anyone else have this problem?whilst i don't need a decoder, it is nice sometimes...

With the hyperspace cloud analyser, you need to make sure you are using the right sort of targetting, i.e. combat, not navigational (red, not green), when you click the icon
