Whale's Voyage I and II
<t>Really? I did a search and came up empty handed here! No mention of Whale's Voyage one or two! I admit, Whale's Voyage one handles poorly with it's keyboard controls, but Whale's Voyage II is outstanding! Space Trading, first-person planetside adventures and puzzles, and an overarching plot to ...

I've been keeping an eye on this one and will purchase it! It has a strange appeal; maybe it is because it seems a new spin on common theme...

RE: Is this game officially "Dead"?
<t>More than a year since the last post here. The game still has community support. Through the STEAM user's forum, I found this link which will take you to here and you'll find a mod up that is, well, less than a year old. The link to the mod is here. As DarkOne mentions, modding tools are absent ...

RE: old space games
<r>Heck, the only reason I logged in was because of the name "Roman Lynch". Try "Privateer Gemini Gold" in your search. Beyond that, the sky's the limit. With the latter you can use a modern machine to play in this fine remake.Check the downloads section, and scan through the "Indie freeware and pay ...

"Cybercritics"
<t>Not a game name, but the name of a website. Here you'll find a variety of space games (fun time-wasters all and no offense intended to the developer) ranging from Space-Trading, Planet Colonization, Space Missions, Mining and fun things as such. Here is the link: http://sites.google.com/site ...

<t>Hi Warzog,I totally missed your posts back in September, sorry to have not replied sooner. I'd have to dig through my files to see what I may still have from that mod and what I don't have. The way the original mod was structured in that it left all of the original Freelancer Systems intact and ...

I did play with the Demo, and in fairness it is very well done game. At the risk of having tomatoes thrown at me for the suggestion, I love mouse controls....
Price is never an issue if a game is good and I'll likely add this one to my collection. Time can be a barrier though...

RE: If you could only have ONE space game, what would it be?
<r>This is a tough one, but I think I'd second Pinback's choice: Megatraveller 2. Not the best in graphics by a long shot, but there is just so much to do and so many directions to go. There have been times I've played MT2 for months on end (a half-hour here, an hour there) and I've never explored ...
