AMD's new Fusion APU/CPU

Post by sscadmin »

Thought I would share this article since it is a nice read on where AMD is going with the product line. I have been a huge supporter of AMD for over 10+ years now and only buy there chips and have to admit my AMD Phenom II Black Quad processor has been flawless the past 2 years.http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2372418,00.aspI am very interested in the CPU and Gfx benchmarking with games to see how they respond.

I thought that this had already been and gone..?A year or 2 ago both Intel and AMD were going on about this its a nice idea, but if I remember correctly, they were very poor in the end.A friend of mine has a motherboard made for the intel version of this (Cpu + Gpu in one), which is now all but discontinued. Who knows though, maybe they will have another crack at it.
