interesting, should work, has anybody else tried running on a 64 bit machine with win 7?Try right-clicking on the exe application, and on properties, go to compatibility and set as an xp version.I do not have a 64 bit machine, but the screen going blank indicates that the program is initiating.it may be a problem with direct draw or loading up the graphics (did you extract the files from the zip folder?).did you run the latest version: AdInfinitum_1_9_9_2_0 ?There is an odd bit of programing in my code, I instruct the program to run everything in system memory, and bypass any graphics memory, this is not very conventional so may have problems with newer machines. This can be turned off and allow the computer to automatically find memory and use graphics cards, to do this open the ad-infinitum folder, the debug folder and the input.txt file; at the bottom changeSYSTEM_MEMORY: 1toSYSTEM_MEMORY: 0close and save and try running again.if these dont work try running an older version athttp://sourceforge.n...nfinitum/files/ test another game that uses direct draw, e.g try running efs which can be found at http://www.hotud.org/component/content/article/37-strategy/20056 luck?
