Nerhesi here! I've been playing sims ever since I fell in love with F-19 stealth fighter on my 286 when I was 10 :)Since then I've been totally having trouser-based-accidents while enjoying games such as Freespace (1 and 2), Privateer, Wing Commander everything (especially WC Armada... overpowered Wraith fighters with Leech Missiles or whatever and playable ONLINE!!)I am one of those nostalgic bums who can almost be brought to tears thinking about the state of space sims now. FFS give us a couple of good Space combat sims... maybe an mmo based elite one and a planet-side style combat one! gaaahhhAnd lets not forget, a ridiculously trouser-accident inducing single players lovely...whoah. Rant done.So happy I've found this place.Sam W.

They're always "coming"! Which are the ones that have you waiting in anticipation DarkOne?Black Prophecy? Jump Gate Evolution? Hmm?

Black Prophecy goes beta in a few days (April), for those that get selected. BP interests me the most right now because it looks to be the first one actually done and its going to be F2P so thats not bad at all. And will release this year.JGE looks good but they have been a bit silent and not sure when beta is going to happen never mind release. Infinity by far is the biggest of all the projects in the space gaming arena but that won't be done until probably late next year and maybe into 2012.And I cannot forget about Miner Wars, this will be a hybrid MMO/SP game that has a bunch of potential as well and should be out this year.Those are just the MMO's that interest me the most at this point.Couple SP games that I cannot wait for are Heresy War (should be out this year), Starpoint Gemini (should be out this year), Star Ruler great looking indie project.All the games are discussed on the website and the devs for all the games do pop in and answer questions on occasion. Well accept for the BP/JGE devs they haven't been to communicative :)
