Will the original play on Win7 or will we have to use DosBox?

Don't know about Windows 7 Darkone, but it installs and plays just fine on XP, without any need for Dosbox.The GOG version also works with no problems on XP.

I - War was a Win 95/98 game. And you had to use Microsoft's Application Compatibility Toolkit, to make it work with XP.The software rendering version that is. I Installed it on Win 7 x64, and it seems it works fine. (I tried a quick action game).
