Interesting looking game,describes itself as a space sim with slight rpg flavour.looking at the screen shot,the space part seems to be 2d with the running around on the planet surface in 3d fps mode.The last news from the author is from sept last year saying the release had been delayed due to memory leak problems.There was a demo to download but looks like its no longer available. Key features of the game include:over 40 flyable shipsover 40 ship upgrades (this is in addition to laser/shielding upgrades)over 40 types of body equipment for defence/offense when exploring outside starportsover 30 types of tradeable goods (tech goods, computers, minerals etc)over 80 systems and 200 dockable planetsvarious military, mercenary, assasination, retrieval and courier missions in which to partakebe a pirate, bounty hunter, soldier, courier, diplomat etc (e.g. being a soldier will give you an advantage in strength, a merchant an advantage in charisma)option to fast track progress through smuggling illegal goods, piracy etc but this of course can be hazardoushidden wrecks and artifacts (e.g. a cloaking device) to be discoveredThe site can be found here.http://www.cold-dawn.com/
