 I have to ask s2odan, in your last avatar, the one with the late great Roy Scheider in Jaws (he was great in 2010 also), I recognised the face coming out of the water, but for the life of me I couldn't put a name to it. Who was that?

That's Samuel L. Jackson. I can't for the life of me understand why anybody would go to the effort of actually doing that. Is there some in-joke floating around about him?

Like your fat-man in a spacestation chair :) Its just a bit of fun, it obviously gives some people somewhere amusement, I have loads of them scoured from the internet. This one always made me laugh, Roy Scheider's reaction is amusing to me :)

Yeah, I laughed the first time, when it was a shark. (: I just thought there might be some deeper meaning, or a running gag of which I wasn't aware, which meant it was him and not, say, Ron Perlman. The "fat-man in a spacestation chair" picture was put together as my photo on the corporate intranet where I work. My place of work isn't as cool as it might sound from that.

I'm not sure which is cooler; a fully operational difference engine, or an office chair in orbit. I suppose the ultimate would be this:
