Hi. My name's John. I've been an Elite player since my CPC664 days, and into the PC for Frontier and FFE.I've just discovered this website and the wonderful JJFFE and FFED3D. I'm now concentrating on FFED3D and loving it.Thanks very much to Darkone for putting the complete download together. Anyway, other than Elite, I mostly play RPGs. I like open anded games that encourage development.Talk soon,John.

Hi John Welcome to the SSC :) I used to have a CPC 464 with a green screen. Looking at the Pip Boy in Fallout 3 always reminds me of it  And Darkone, you missing your C64? Get yourself to Amibay http://www.amibay.com/ , it's retro computer central! There are some American folks on there and who knows there might be one for sale quite near to you, you will have to register first though. If none are for sale, place a wanted ad, it's likely you could get one in good condition with a load of games too ;)

It's never too late John, if buying a 20 year old computer bothers you, there is always the Amiga Forever emulator, link http://www.amigaforever.com/ . Also there is the C64 Forever emulator too, http://www.c64forever.com/

Actually, I hadn't heard of Oolite. I just downloaded it and giving a go. Seems a lot more detailed than FFED3D. I'll let yoiu know what I think. Thanks for the headsup. :)John.
