Anyone else here love Resident Evil?

I have played most of them myself, waiting for Resident Evil 5 Gold edition to drop in price and I will grab it for my PS3.

Just a heads up, the fifth one is horrible. It's even worse than RE4, imho.

I remember playing the directors cut of one on my brother's PS1. After finding the first Zombie after the right turn, I remember my death being agonisingly slow because the control scheme was horrible. The series never interested me after that (except the time I watched my brother kill the giant shark in the 4th or 5th one). I can't recall ever having played one since the director's cut.Short answer: "meh".

who doesnt like resident evil? i love 4 and 5. though i do wish we could do RE 4 and 5 gameplay elements with actual zombies in a racoon city environment, not parasites, a butload of zombies to smash... *drooles
