Hi allSome pics from great Metallica Gig they give Saturday evening here in France, for the Black Album 20 years Birthday This was a Damn F... GREAT Show, this was my 2nd Metallica concert (1st I saw was in 2004 !). I leave the place with my ears in blood, and so happy to see that the Four Horsemen are still great performers. Nevil I tell ya I saw Metallica only once but it was in their prime at the 1988 Monsters of Rock (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monsters_of_Rock_Tour_1988) and what a show that was. If I remember correctly that was before the black album and after that I went into the army and was overseas for about 8 yrs and didn't get to see them after that. But I liked Dokken a lot at that show and I have seen then at least 10 times over the years. Scorpions always good and damn they are still touring after 20+ albums and van Halen, nah they too old now and Roth ins't doing it for me these days. 1988 was a good year for concerts for me because thats when I saw Def Leppard for the first time and damn they were good and have seen them 7x as well over the years.Glad you liked the Metallica concert, the most recent concert I have been too was Journey (with that new Korean singer, he is pretty good) and Heart. And Heart was actually really damn good and I thought they upstaged Journey personally.

Hey,D1 it seem that you saw a lot of concerts of famous bands; I think end of the 80's was a sort of golden age of Rock/Hard Rock, with a lot of great gigs and shows; unfortunately for me I was still a young kid at this period, ans it was not possible to see one of those show by myself, and my parents aren't great fans of rock music (they prefer french singers pwah!) so they never took me to one show like that. I started to go to some concerts at the begining of 2002, as I get my job (and the money to buy the entrance tickets )
