Greetings everyone!I'm really glad that I found this fourm. I have the idea that I will be able to find space sim games here rather easy. I usually spend alot of my time searching for a game of my interest. You see, I have this pet peeve of mine; I really get turned off by no cockpit (which is a minor detail!). I don't let it set me back that much though, I still like to play a variety of them. Such as the old but great space sim, Freespace 2. It was open source which allowed you to program your own cockpit into the game, hehe, which kind of worked for me, but was some what bugged. I really have the impression though that I will be able to find current games in development here because no matter how much I search, it's incredibly hard to find fun space sims, since alot of people now day enjoy other genres of video games and what not, but it's nice that this website is here. I look forward to meeting people, and finding new games! Thanks for reading this.

Hi Welcome to the SSC As you can see (by having a look at the various threads) there are many space sims out there both classic and new. I am sure you will be able to find something to your liking.
