Incoming Transmission - Project BlueBeam Data Link Online

Post by Scotland »

Hi There Fellow Space Junkies,Project Bluebeam is a new Space Trading, Exploration & Construction Game under development in UE4.To Start with here are some of the main links you will need to navigate development of the game.32bit and 64bit Windows PC Only. Downloads Coming Soon.IndieDB : http://www.indiedb.com/games/project-bluebeam : http://www.indiedb.com/games/project-bluebeam/forum : http://www.indiedb.com/games/project-bluebeam/articles : http://www.indiedb.com/games/project-bluebeam/videos : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcyCykCc4Hya1HO3SizmB6A BlueBeam is about the good old days of Elite style trading but mixed in with a next gen engine and a moreReal-Time Stragegy Focus on the Gameplay. The usual stuff will be there like 3rd person view, Space Stations,Planet exploration and so on. Using UE4 I hope to make what are some rather cartoon prototype visualsand make it a lot more gritty.Ive joined this site as feedback and discussion is rare on IndieDB and to make a great game you need great gamers ;)who share a passion for the same type of games. So I hope by reaching out here you lotwill keep me on track and ensurethat Project Bluebeam is the most emmesive game it can be.I look forward to getting to know you all a lot better as development continues and cant wait to check out the othergreat space games on show.Live Long and Prosper.

Welcome to SSC, amigo! There are certainly a few 'great gamers' hereabouts (though many forums are quiet, atm).

Sounds quite good. Will probably keep an eye on this, depending on a few questions. ,)Third person chase cam á la Freelancer? (Oh, and since Starpoint Gemini 2 I have to ask if crosshair is centered as well..?)Offline/Singleplayer? DRM? GOG? Price?Hmm, says release date sept '16. Is that for the demo or alpha/beta?Thanks!

Welcome to the forums Scotland. Found you already. http://spacesimcentral.com/ssc/topic/5711-project-bluebeam/ Feedback always hard to get although I guess you should get some when you have the download up and running.

Hi Folks,Not sure if this is the best forum thread to start answering questions but I hope if it is in the wrong place I hope its not too much hassle to move it.Sorry in advance if it is in the wrong thread. The release date of Sep 2016 : This is for the prototype, not a finished game. It will be probably V0.07? or close to it.Throughout development downloads will be made available probably every couple of week or once a month via IndieDB. No game is ever really finishedso expect them for the forseable future.Ill wait to see if this is in the right place before I go in too deep about features and controls. A new dev video will be out shortly andIll cover a lot of things in that.So for the time being if you want me to answer questions post them here and ill cover them in the dev video chat. Bouitaz Ill answerthose questions then.Cheers for the welcome folks and Ill get a thread up soon, if you dont start one yourselves. If you do point me to it. PS: who has the Scotland3d name on this forum, just so you know it isnt me.Peace :)

Not sure if this is the best forum thread to start answering questions but I hope if it is in the wrong place I hope its not too much hassle to move it.Sorry in advance if it is in the wrong thread. No worries. It all depends on weather the the game is free or paid for or online as to which forum it goes into. Free games go here http://spacesimcentral.com/ssc/forum/33-free-scifi-gaming-projects/ Paid ones go here http://spacesimcentral.com/ssc/forum/6-spacescifi-combat-and-simulation-game-discussion/ And online one go here http://spacesimcentral.com/ssc/forum/56-space-and-scifi-mmo-and-multi-player-only-discussion/ note that online free games go in the free games forum) Feel free to start you own thread as I can always delete the one I started.
