Free Screen Capture Tools

Hey EveryoneI have found a few free tools out there and haven't been to please with responsiveness or realibility of some of the screen capture tools out there. What I am looking for is a nice tool to take screenshots with during gameplay (if the game itself doesn't have a tool). I noticed a lot of tools I had to play in windowed mode to use them or it couldn't capture the gameplay that I needed. So if you use something or can recommend some tools I could try it would be appreciated. Please leave links in this thread to your favorite tools.Thanks-D1-

Fraps is probably the best one, screen shots are free but you have to register to get more then a few seconds of video.http://www.fraps.com/

And here I thought fraps did only video... will download that this evening. I feel like a newb now
