Singularity Sky, Iron Sunrise
Singularity Sky, Iron Sunrise
Charles Stross is, for me, one of the best SciFi writer nowadays.Unfortunately it seems that playing too much with paradoxes he put himself in a corner and this series is on indefinite hiatus.

I have never read this book but does sound interesting from the description I read here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Singularity_SkyDoes the book happen to skip around a lot or does it focus its story on say a few of the planets where the humans were moved too?

The focus is on the specific story and there is not a lot of hopping around. The first one happen (mostly) on the planet where the Singularity sky phenomena is going on.That said the universe building is quite fashinating
