Singularity Sky, Iron Sunrise

Charles Stross is, for me, one of the best SciFi writer nowadays.Unfortunately it seems that playing too much with paradoxes he put himself in a corner and this series is on indefinite hiatus.

I have never read this book but does sound interesting from the description I read here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Singularity_SkyDoes the book happen to skip around a lot or does it focus its story on say a few of the planets where the humans were moved too?

The focus is on the specific story and there is not a lot of hopping around. The first one happen (mostly) on the planet where the Singularity sky phenomena is going on.That said the universe building is quite fashinating ;) .
