Yes welcome to the SSC :) Your game seems to be a bit like Galcon Fusion? Would I be correct in saying that? Here is what I mean

Geraldine took my thoughts :) Another game that came to mind that isn't space related was Mushroom Wars (on PS3). One thing I liked about this trailer was how easy the movement of your forces seemed during gameplay. I just added Blue Libra to SSC game list just yesterday :) I'm looking forward to playing this demo when I get a spare evening.

Thank you:).People that played the game say it's similar to Eufloria, but I have not played that game myself. Looking at the youtube link provided by Geraldine - yes, it looks a bit like that game also.Main difference in the interface and gameplay seem to be (judging from the video) that in Galcon you control planets and send attack orders from there, while in Blue Libra you control fleets directly, so you can position them in space and make them stop between two planets. There are a couple of units to choose from as well. The player captures planets, builds new units and conqueres more planets. There are space objects both natural (asteroids) and artificial (space stations) that have an impact on game to add a bit of tactical planning. Of course game is designed for iPad, so it's primarily meant to be fun and easy, but there is some decision making added for the player. There are unit combos that work better than other. My personal favorite example of such combo is the combination of fighters with two biggest ships in game, battleship and dreadnought. In one on one combat - the battleship will most likely win (improved shields reduce dreadnoughts powerful guns). But in a 20 fighters + battleship against 20 fighters + dreadnought - dreadnought is more likely to win, even despite both have 20 fighters on their side. That is because battleship's improved shields won't have any effect on weak fighter's guns, while dreadnought once battleship's shields are down will be able to use its neutralizing attack that disables enemy ships from combat for a short period of time, effectively making battleship a floating wreck.Well, those types of combos will probably not be useful on standard difficulty level, where all you need is a mass of ships, but beating the game on hard might require some tricks like that.Just in case, direct link to demo: http://orator-games.com/demo_download/BLInstall_demo.zip

Finally got around to playing the demo Neffu and you have done a great job on it from I can see. The game mechanics work well and the tutorial does a great quick job to get you used to the controls and command giving. I might have missed it but is there an easy way to group a certain amount of fighters lets say with a bomber? i noticed that when I split the fighters that worked but I really didn't have control on what was split.I like the way you show capturing of a planet or a station and when you do capture your command points go up so there in lies the strategy should you go for command points quickly and thin out your forces or move when you have the forces...? :) I can see in the controls how this could be played easily on a mobile device and the controls are still great for the PC as well.
