Salutations, fellow spacefarers... I've just drifted in from Oolite aboard Rolling Thunder.I'm an old Elite veteran, the classic space game which Oolite recreates beautifully.

Hi CodyWelcome to the SSC and I am glad you gave Oolite a mention. Even though the other elite games enjoy a lot of discussion on here (especially Pioneer), I feel that Oolite deserves attention too. Welcome to SSC CodyThere are a few threads about Oolite but it not been mentioned in a whileOolite easily the best Elite clone out there and better than the recent commercial game on the PC.

Welcome to SSC Cody.I haven't played much of Oolite lately but do want to get back to it soon to write something up on it or if someone else wants to I will gladly post it to SSC main page. I know when I played it last there was some nice models mods that I added that really makes the game look great.
