Relaxing & Inspiration

Post by Gfamad »

You devs, you deserve sometime to have some break ! So here it is a little something that could inspire you and relax you.Okay okay, in fact this link is more to inspire you than relax you because as a programmer, this will certainly burst your brain.Of course, there is a lot of API calls, but think it fit in 4096 bytes... That's incredible, simply... And here, sounds data (for the music track) and textures are procedural...It could give you some idea if one day you want to give another look and feel in your planetary engine ! Or it could give idea for seasons changes...For non windows user, there is a Youtube link. For Windows 7, take the Windows 7 compatible version !I bet that you have ever seen this demo. So I give you the link just in case...http://pouet.net/prod.php?which=52938Gfamad

I found out about Inigo Iquilez just a few days ago. What mindblowing work.

He's written tutorials about the making of Elevated and other demos of his; they're extremely helpful to a baby coder like me, and perhaps also to the Pioneer project.
