RE: Drifter for PC/Mac and Linux
Nice update Colin and great art assets for the game. 0.7.0 seems like it is going to be a great feature release and milestone for you.... almost there. So is it safe to say we might see 1.0 sometime in the summer? Just an odd question, do you plan on having time sensitive or perishable goods in the market? So maybe depending on how quickly you get the good to market you could make a huge payday. I'm actually attempting to get 1.0 out before the summer but that's probably a safe assumption for the moment
As for perishable goods, there currently aren't any plans for that but it's an interesting idea. At the very least there are/will be missions that have time-sensitive elements but I'll give the trade good thing some thought too!
RE: Drifter for PC/Mac and Linux
Well this looks like a good game, but the Steam reviews are no joke. Two updates in the 'year of drifter'...no, you won't be getting my money that easily good sir!
I'm keeping an eye out for release however, and I'm excited too see how it all comes together. Best of luck!

We're still alive and plugging away! I'm not too pleased with how uneven progress has been in the last year or so but this is the first public step in attempting to fix things and move forward. Drifter 0.7.0 is still in the works but as a part of restructuring my development process we're moving to weekly builds starting today. Old habits are hard to break but the way I was working on the game previously was just not working out and it took me some time to take stock and try and fix things. That said hopefully this will help keep development from stalling out again and also it will mean lots of visible progress/less radio silence. Also we'll be able to address bugs more quickly and we'll be doing constant mid-stream polish as we go.Builds should be available on Humble and on Steam! That said, the full details as to what's new and fixed in 0.6.4 are listed below and are also over on the wiki: http://celsiusgs.com/drifter/wiki/Current_Build_and_Known_Bugs down to see a preview of the new UI look as well!(Click to enlarge)

RE: Drifter for PC/Mac and Linux
Yaay! Another Drifter update! :girlcrazy: This is still one of the most relaxed space sims I've ever played, perfect after a horrible day at work to unwind with. Keep up the good work underscorediscovery, Drifter just keeps getting better and better! :queen:
RE: Drifter for PC/Mac and Linux
Been a while since I played Drifter and going through the tutorial again I noticed that you can use the joypad but there appears to be no way to access the radial menu using the joypad and I ended up having to use the mouse. Also it took me a few minutes of trying to find the exit the space station icon might be idea to have a quick exit on the main station menu.

New trailer out.
RE: Drifter for PC/Mac and Linux
Has Drifter stalled in its development? There has been no Steam updates since July 2017...
Game is sitting at version 0.8.3, so I hope this game starts seeing some updates. The whole reason I haven't purchased this game yet is because I have been waiting for it to leave early access or least hit beta.

Look like CGSColin has been working on the game again as 0.8.4 come out in the summer and 0.8.5 hopefully should be with us, lets say before Christmas.
