Hello SSC,My name is Bradd and I'm just arriving here from the Starshattermods universe. As some may have heard, Starshattter is a space sim that is very moddable. We had a small cadre of very dedicated modders at starshattemods.com until recendly when the site went kaput. I have assumed the de facto role as leader of the now homeless community. I would like to that Space Sim Central very much for offering us a new place to call home. Between here and our upcoming new discussion page at Hard-light.net we should be very well taken care of. I very much look forward to getting to know the members of this online Space Sim community.Bradd

Welcome to SSC BraddYeah a few of us knew that the website went down and thought there might be an issue and if it did loose its file database that is a huge hit for the community, granted the community could rebuild it with people uploading what they have but a lot of info was lost. I lost a few files a while back during a server move and now I do my best to make sure everything is good to go before I pull the plug. It's just a shame all that stuff was lost and not transferred somewhere else as a backup.The forum database is backup daily and the file area I do often enough to not loose too much if something catastrophic happened. Not sure if shatteredmods is going to come back to life or not? But if the owner of the board has a phpbb board I could possibly import the topics/posts so all that info isn't a total loss.
