I miss my Natrix :(

Hiya, anyone know why the Natrix does not show up in the shipyard any-more? I've sat for ages on fast watching the board. To no avail. Thanx for the update guys. Still love it, even if my poor old well loved battered ship is missing.

i've sat for days (game time obviously) waiting for certain ships to appear....best bet is to reload/restart the game or just wait it out.i do beleive its still in the core alpha 24 files so it should appear at some point.

It's not sold on atmospheric starports any more because it cannot fit an atmospheric shield.This is controlled by the max_atmoshield = 0 value in the ship definition file.

Oh dear. So does this mean that I cannot land on any planets any-more with a Natrix??

I think the Natrix should be able to travel in an atmosphere by default. I mean, look at its shape. It looks as sleek as anything else in Pioneer that can land in an atmosphere.

Fair enough like. Ill try buying it from a space port and landing on a planet without an atmospheric shield (as I don't know what a [background=rgb(33, 47, 58)] 0to 1 in max_atmoshield is) and see what happens.[/background]I wonder what Chuck Norris would do?Thank you everyone!

Mhollow2, what Vuzz meant was, open the data/ships/natrix.lua file with a text editor and change the line ' max_atmoshield = 0,' to ' max_atmoshield = 1,'.It's as simple as that. <img src="'[url]http://spacesimcentral.com/forum/public/style_emoticons//icon_e_smile.gif[/url] class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

You can still land on a planet if you don't have an atmospheric shield, you just have to be a bit careful about it.Like starting off in FFE and selling all equipment.. you have to fly through the atmosphere slowly.

But it is a little boxy looking so I suppose that is why Luomo added "max_atmoshield = 0," to the lua.
