New to Starshatter. Downloading now. Which files to choose?

Hi everyoneI just stumbled across this game a few days ago and I'm quite excited to try it out. There are quite a few files available in the downloads section and I'm not sure which ones I need. Of course I began with what I gather is the main game itself. But other than that I'm not too certain. Any help is appreciated!Nice to meet everyone.edit: well I tried it twice. Stops at 44.0 mb both times :/

If you have downloaded the game itself, then that is all you really need to get started. Most of the stuff available in the downloads here are either mods or modding tools or tutorials to teach you how to mod so they are not technically "needed" to get the game up and running. I would recommend doing the mission tutorials included with the stock game in order to get familiar with how to play, then start exploring the meriad of modding options available. In any event, welcome to starshatter and feel free to ask about any other questions that may arise.

Thank you for the welcome and the advice <img src="'[url]http://spacesimcentral.com/forum/public/style_emoticons//icon_e_smile.gif[/url] class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> Really what I meant was that I heard the game has some serious bugs/errors (such as the AI fighters committing suicide when trying to dock with a carrier) and was wondering if there is a fix/overall game enhancement mod or file i should have. Or if it is included in this updated version. However, it doesn't matter for now since I can't even download it as I mentioned in the download thread. Tried four times. I pointed zero that he can also download the vox, sstgs, music and voice files separately to get all the files as well.
