A new Kickstarter for a writers' pack - a pen & paper RPG. This has hit its target with seven days to go - very cool!

Second update from E:D a couple of days ago along with some concept and model pics. Don't like the look of this Imperial cruiser, just looks all wrong.

That last image of the small ship looks interesting. Dunno what ship that might be, but I like all the details it has.

Yeah, the Sidewinder looks cool! That will be my starter ship, it seems.Gotta agree with Pinback about that Imperial Cruiser - it's not to my taste.

Don't know where they are going with the Imperial Cruiser, just looks a mess. in fact I would say say it looks better if you turn the pic upside down. Forgot to put the link in for the other pics on Frontiers Photobucket page. Finally! That kickstarter had the absolute worst timeing, I couldn't pledge much of anything. :( Now that I DO have money, I am able to 'jonty' up via the Elite Backers webpage. On my birthday no less! :D I don't know what you folks are on about, I LOVE the Imperial designs, they where always meant to be more 'flamboyent' then the other factions. Besides, if you are not going to fly Imperial ships, at least you can shoot them! Ooh. SSC squadron? Count me and my Sidewinder in!

News letter 3 out a few days ago, among various topics are some station concept drawings.More pics at http://s1305.photobucket.com/user/FrontierAshley/profile/ Have a liking for 32 as it has a good low tec look to it but still retains the look and feel of an Elite style station. Also this design for the Imperial fighter, me thinks someone at Frontier has been watching too much Battle Star Galactica or the Phantom Menace :haha:

Update 5 from Elite came out a couple of days ago ( I seem to have missed one ?) lot of new pic of ship designs. Like the fed cap ship. Also some concept designs for a new freighter Looks a bit like something from Thunderbirds.

Hi all - first time poster here. Well, I'm not too surprised by the relatively slow Kickstarter campaign; I only learned of this yesterday, and would gladly have contributed. As someone else said much earlier on this thread, if DB had just written "I will develop Elite IV, give me all the money you can spare." I would have been happy to pledge! Looking forward to both this and Star Citizen.

Newsletter 6 out and is about updating three classic ships from Elite/Frontier games First up the Eagle Well it looks like a fighter but like the old one it still does not look like a ship that could make a 7 LY jump. This fan made version of the Eagle still looks better than the Frontier redsign  Next up the Adder Much better And last the the Asp Still in the early stages of design but IMO this looks a total pigs ear so far.
