Atmospheres?

Post by Zephyros »

Hi I was thinking that I was having a bit of problem landing on planets and I saw what was the problem...I was under the assumption that atmospheres will slow down my speed due to drag and before i could notice I would crash, I really dont crash that much but involuntarily I tend to think that my ship would slow down a bit lol.My question is, could it be implemented the dragg that atmospheres cause on the ship?? (i dont think it would be that hard program wise, i may be wrong here)Also could clouds be implemented in the future?? (very useful to measure altitude lol) it doesnt have to be pretty :) thank you

There is atmospheric drag, but it isn't very effective.Try on Venus.

atmospheric drag is very interesting going into venus just before youre ship heats up and explodes in a ball of flame
