Void Space Kickstarter

Kickstarter for Void space (sure their another games called that?) anyhow this one centers on resource collection from asteroids and building bases [url][/url] looking for a modest $3,000. Demo of the current build can be downloaded on the Kickstarter page.

This one looks pretty hopeless to be honest. And I did try the demo. It looks like something somebody whipped up in half day while learning Unity3d.

Well he does admit that he is leaning Unity as he goes and the page is a bit light on details.

Only games I remember with the word void in it is Void Destroyer and Kenetic Void. Both of which are a lot more polished that Void Space currently, and with a $3000 budget I wouldn't expect high end gfx/music/snd.

There's no details about gameplay mechanics and game design, but I higly doubt that a one-man-army can build a "fully functionnal" 3D space mining simulator with only 3 months of work, even in full time...
