You should use the one inside the Genesia folder unless you have created a shortcut for it in your desktop or start menu.

@ mhollow2, When you said there are two pioneer.exe it made me wonder if you extracted Genesia into the same folder as your current Pioneer alpha folder. I want to make sure that you understand that Genesia should be in it's own separate folder and run from there, the same way that you can have different Pioneer alphas on your drive at the same time. We'll get you there yet!

@Marcel, no, I have Extracted Genesia onto my desktop, not into the pioneer folder which i have moved to my program files. After extraction I have been left with a folder called Genesia_R7. If I go into this folder there are 17 items:-1. Data (folder)2. Genesia_R7 (folder)3. Licences (folder)4. 00 vaisseaux (jpeg)5. 01 vaisseaux (jpeg)6. AUTHORS (text file)7. Chanelog (text file)8. Chanelog Genesia (text file)9. COMPILING (text file)10. Genesia (a short cut)11. Modelviewer (text file)12. QuickStart (text file)13. Pioneer (exe icon)14. Pioneer.map (map file)15. README (text file)16. Lmrmodelviewer (a blue box icon)17. Lmrmodelviewer.map (map file)So item 2 in my above list is a folder containing what's on this list again and thus Inside that folder is another pioneer exe file. Is this 2nd folder (second item on list) meant to be there?Hopefully,Mike.

OK. So i have downloaded the Genesia_R7 folder again, re-extracted it and the following is what is in the folder (image 1 below). This is where I put the 4 new files Walterar created. As you can see there is a folder inside the extracted Genesia folder called Genesia_R7. If I go ahead and open this second folder it contains a second .exe (see second image). Best wishes, Mike.

Sorry. Spoke too soon, it goes to main screen then when I select start at earth it gives me the OpenGl error(s) during frame: Gl_INVALID_VALUE message again. Just to be clear, do I have to put Walterars new files in the R8 folder?Best,Mike.
