I love Minecraft and also Space theme games. My borther found this nugget in combining both Minecraft's sandbox concept with a Space theme. [url]http://star-made.org/[/url] Currently still in alpha stage and free at this moment to try. Can do quite a few things in it and very stable (no crashes yet).Really love the starship designs. Can even setup starbases and factories. PS - I'm not sure if this belong here but I couldn't see where else it will fit.

I played the alpha a long time ago when it was still very crude. I have seen them made big improvements alon the way. Am waiting for them to finish implementing NPCs/Artificial Life.
