Trading is fairly easy honestly now most trading-related bugs are fixed
Have so far only spotted one single one: Trade ships dont cancel orders when they can't trade due to not having Cargolifter drones on them.

Nice work, hope to see you get that destroy that capitol ship achievement soon.... thought their would have been more achievements with a wide open game like this. But its great to see the patches flowing and maybe come Jan/Feb I will finally purchase this.

Take it that the cap ship are still not firing back as I found a Xenon cap ship flying between two zones in Albion and blew the crap out of it, never fired a shot back at me. Edit: they must have fixed that now as I went after a pirate cap ship and was greeted with a hail of fire.

Another small patch from just before Christmas, explains what Steam was upto this morning when I had it switched on. Patch 1.21 - 2013-12-20• Added new Refuel order.• Fixed more causes of crashes.• Fixed another case where the player could be teleported into the middle of nowhere.• Fixed problem with NPCs being assigned to multiple locations.• Fixed scan overlay not being removed when docking.• Fixed capital ships standing still forever with the boost effect running.• Fixed trade menu problem (in German only) when trying to sell and the ship doesn't have the requested ware.

I have to play this game again since the last time I played was a few days after launch, but I thought this game was great! I ran into some game-breaking bugs and had to stop playing because I didn't want to go through the tutorial again (which I was just at the end of), but the graphics were beautiful, the warp minigame was enjoyable to say the least and everything was extremely immersive! The two problems I did have though is: 1. The bugs, which from what I hear are for the most part gone. 2. You can only have one ship.... This was one of the biggest sales points for me in the other X games I've played: the fact that you're not just stuck on one boat, but you can switch to whatever ship you'd like! And the fact that the preview videos showed the player walking around the ship made me excited for the idea that you can move around bigger ships, until I found out that you can't pilot any other ships... But I suppose it is a promising step for the next X game that might have such a thing!

I have to say that after only a few hours playing the game, I had to leave it. I really regret buying the game now.For me, as an X series vet, the bugs were more than expected.The whole "1 ship" issue i could even live with but not the limited view I have of the universe (can't even look left or right) and the "docking" are bad choices in my view. ES's argument about the 1 ship I also find strange seeing as, while most players eventually settled on piloting 1-ship the most of the time, this was usually after trying a few; you CHOSE the 1 ship you spent most of your time in, and I do not support limiting player choice from a game. Hell, I had two or three favourites that, once I'd fitted a teleporter I could jump between at will. I seriously hope that they reverse that decision or the modding community does something about it.The fact that there are no external views, particularly when you first discover the boost and it gives you a short 360 external view of your ship is also a deal breaker for me. I think if you're new to or lightly invested in the X series, then you're probably wondering what the fuss is all about (apart from the bugs - welcome to X!) but to anyone who enjoyed previous X games, i cant see how these design choices would go down well. I do applaud the attempt to make the games more accessible but the cutting room floor of Egosoft must be choc-full of some of the best features in the X series to date. My two pennies.

Now that is a patch, like to see lots of fixes. That capitol ship fight improvements look like it would be a big plus as well. Maybe by June I will get this, by then it will have been patched to a very stable place and maybe there will be some good mods out, plus I should have my new PC then and I will be able to enjoy it more

The progress of X Rebirth is going exactly like x3 reunion so far. I hope the future after it will be alike.

I was pretty impressed with the 2.0 reviews that came out recently, so Egosoft is doing a lot of hard work.

I still got the disc i pre-ordered and it had a separate disc included with the first patch

I played it quite a bunch, its improved a lot, but i still miss proper endgame content: ie stuff to do after the storyline. I hope either egosoft or modders add it in. And then I am pointing to stuff like Race Response Fleets, sector takeover, wars, etc.
