What's the forum about, well I let D1 explain that one but in a nut shell the forum is collect and promote the space sim/games genre which back in 2008 IIRC when D1 started the site had pretty much gone out of fashion. And welcome to the forums.

Hey USSGriffinWelcome to SSC.What you should know about the site... hmm that could be a long answer but in short. SSC is doing its best to stay on top of all these great space and scifi game titles that are out there and there actually is thousands. So as always if you come across something you don't think has been mentioned please let us know about the game. There is thousands of people that lurk here and read about community projects, indie games and AAA games. So I would classify SSC as a knowledge base of games, plus we are slowly building a repository of games, mods, models, music in the download area for people to enjoy. But I also look at SSC as a place you can truly express your thoughts and opinions on any game/movie without too much drama coming from it. I know on most game dedicated sites 'wars' start because of passion or hate of a game. When really it is just a game and nothing is perfect so its always nice to read all the feedback people discuss about the games/mods/projects here.So I will see you in the forums and have fun, and no abusing the cleaning bots because they have a tough job picking up after all the spacers here :)-D1-
