Just noticed this has been greenlit on Steam http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=137643526 not much on the game apart from it will use Rift. Current Features-Oculus Rift compatible!-Experience strange new places in the cosmos using the Oculus Rift or your regular computer monitor.-The game is semi non-linear after making a jump you arrive in a solar system you can warp to different places in that solar system exploring and looking for those energy asteroids.-Some areas in space are dangerous because of events that happen. Like super nova's, black holes, massive solar flares, cosmic collisions, gravity, and ancient technologies from civilizations long past like dangerous mines, and drones.-Avoid and destroy asteroids to collect crystal energy fragments to make the next jump.-Explore caves in asteroids while looking for deposits of energy crystals.-Collect ancient artifacts.-Discover asteroids with lots of different minerals like gold, ruby, copper, ice, and many more.-Much more to come! We just started making this February 2013!Planned Features-Contact with new civilizations.-Trading-Mine asteroids-Ship upgrades-Strange artifacts, stations, ships, drones and, civilizations of all kinds.dangers from many different civilizations.-Much more will be add closer to launch date. It's unclear what this game is supposed to be. "We wanted the game to be about depth, and color" doesn't really explain anything and the only gameplay shown is one ship flying around asteroids and planets shooting a laser at nothing. So... more info coming soon hopefully.

The 'planned features' of this game are a must for it to sell well for the space gamer imo, I don't think just because it has Oculus Rift compatibility that this will be the main selling point. Has some promise so will be interesting to see what gets implemented.
