Capital systems for the procedural generated faction systems

Post by ollobrain »

Is it possible to make each faction in the procedurally generated factions to have their own capital system of sorts at least close to sol ( would add to the immersion and populate space) and possibly down the track make the universe a bit more usable

This already happens, when a faction is created it's assigned a homeworld. There's just not much information hooked up about it all.it's something I keep meaning to revisit and expand but I never seem to have the time.

ah ok, another idea is an administrative capital and military capital, perhaps a few developed world under that within each faction. Mining worlds, farming, tourism, refinery, water production worlds. Just a few ideas to work with if youre fleshing out factions a bit more. Not sure how many other programmers are working on this at the moment but if any lurking programmers who are stepping up read this feel free to throw a commit in
