M.O.R.E

Post by McAule »

Space strategy game M.O.R.E. - Military, Organization, Research, Exploration - is a worthy successor to classic turn-based 4X games. During development, the focus has been to create a worthy heir to the best game of this genre, Master of Orion II - released in 1996. All subsequent created games have had their pros and cons; however they have disappointed many fans of space strategy, with the result that for many years the space strategy genre has been stuck in a rut. Even nowadays announced games miss freshness and important game features, which are already included in our game. Trailer: Official site

Wow this is an old game in a sense, this was kickstarter back in 10/2012 and they second kickstarter completed back in 11/2014. You would have thought by now they would have had a playable alpha for the backers?

This quote from kickstarter comments says it all:You "speed up" a project that's weeks behind. You cannot "speed up" a project that 4-8 years behind. It's failed. You got investors here on KS, you made a commitment and was unable to keep it. It doesn't count as successful if you deliver the game 1,000-2,000 days overdue. It's unclear why you are reaching for investors when this track record should make them want to run away.I funded you in order to receive a game in 2013, or even early 2014. Not in 2018. Or even 2017. When you go to a restaurant and you order food, and it comes out three hours later, your attitude isn't "better late than never." It's "you took too long."
