Story continuation

Hey! First of all the steam page is looking fantastic! I own the first game on Gamersgate, but its flaws really turned me off of ever finishing it. Will the second require story knowledge from the first game? I.e. will I be ok just playing the second? Or is it like opening a book and starting on the second chapter?

I think u can play it regardless of the story from the 1st part. Ofc it will be connected to it, but a standalone game it is :) Soon we will see how it goes...
