i think i like making space games more than playing them

hi all, last year i spent some time playing 'space station frontier' on the iPhone. great game. i've always liked the whole idea ofbuilding and defending against tougher and tougher waves of enemies. i made my own iPad space game this year - 'quasar phase : space battle'i've done a few versions of it, and i like how it's starting to feel (i think i might be the only one playing it...)i guess that's the great thing about making your own space game - you get to add whatever you always dreamed about. i've always been a bit confused about kickstarter campaigns for games. i see projects where people have spent a lot of time making videos of simulated play, art reels, and then asking for money to make the game. i'm thinking - dude - just make the game already! who knows, it's probably a great way to get some game chatter going. anyway - just very nice to see that there's a space sim central out here.

Welcome to the forums Enupgames If you want to start a thread about your game in the mobile section feel free too. A successful Kickstarter requires a lot of work but even then their is no guarantee that the target will be hit, it always seem to be a matter of luck weather a game find enough backers or not.
