Hi, It's great to see a community like this flourishing on the internet! I've been playing video games since my dad gave me a book with the basic code for Tank vs UFO to program onto our old (newer at the time!) Commodore Vic 20. Boy have I been a gamer since... RPG, strategy, FPS, and puzzles. Two specific games have always stuck with me through life as marquee though: Star Control and Wing Commander. While I love playing RPG fantasy style games, I am always on the hunt for games along these lines. I am currently playing Galactic Civilizations 2 and Starpoint Gemini 2. For the community, being a soft spoken type, I tend to just lurk and only respond occasionally. While I won't be the most productive member of this community, I hope to be able to add a little substance to it. Cheers!Risingfish

Welcome to the forums Risingfish. I too owned a Vic20 back in the day and it was huge step up from the ZX81, it had colour, sound and graphics.  Being on the look out for a space RPG myself, some thing along the lines of Megatraveller 2.

Hey Risingfish and welcome to SSC.I too had a C64 and Plus4 and Amiga. Playing SPG2 as well and hope to get a review up soon. Trying not to just do the campaign missions.See ya in the forums.
