Looking for a game

I'm looking for a game where I have my own ship and crew. I am free to fly around space or land on a planet to do missions/quests on foot. In a way... similar to Mass Effect, but not Mass Effect. I would like to actually have control of flying my ship. I am familiar with Star Citizen but unfortunately I don't think my PC would run it at the moment. I'm open to almost any genre except RTS. I have PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.

Precursors  full of bug and unfinished but a great game you can check the forum here about getting it to work X-Rebirth but it only has stations which can be explored also full of bugs and unfinished but they are working on it. Other games I can think of are all early access games as in Rodina, Pulsar and interstellaria.

Hey Pinback, I thought I read that Precursors is a decent buy once you have applied all the community patches to the game? A slightly older game you could try is Parkan II.

Hey Pinback, I thought I read that Precursors is a decent buy once you have applied all the community patches to the game? Even with all the patches it's still crashes, it's not a game anyone should buy unless they are prepared for a bit of grief with it. But if you want to play a game which is unique then take a look as their nothing else like it at moment.  Ascent -the space game if the OP looking for an online game.
