SPG2 DLC Secrets Of Aethera announced

Post by zzokalj »

Hi guys, in a few days, and we will give you more specific details soon, we will release our first Starpoint Gemini 2 DLC. Since we don't like money grabbing, 2 haircuts, 1 map, 3 portraits type of DLCs, we decided to pack it as full as we can. There will be tons of new side missions, new content, faction related missions, some new features... Community got us up to this point and we're extremely grateful for that. You're the reason we're pushing that hard to make this game better from udpate to update. Update will first be released on Steam, and hopefully on GoG soon after. www.facebook.com/StarpointGemini2/posts/860747313988802

And DLC is out! http://store.steampowered.com/app/345870[/url] Secrets of Aethera - DLC This vast and dense nebula spans almost half of Porphyria. The sheer number of powerful anomalies and highly erratic deadly discharges caused by the strange nebula makes this area almost impossible to traverse. Several years ago, NeoPhysics scientists investigated the region and established a research facility in an abandoned Nexus installation called Kepler Station. Immediately after NeoPhysics started their work in Aethera, all hell broke loose. A series of rift detonations shook Aethera and the number of anomalies multiplied exponentially. Nexus officially denied any connection to the research taking place on Kepler and withdrew all personnel from Porphyria. The destiny of Kepler Station isn't clear, even to this day. With the exception of the so-called Ghosts, and rare, but audacious traders, no one travels through Aethera any more. Standard shields are simply not strong enough to withstand the violent disturbances. However, recent reports have surfaced, indicating that Kepler Station is still operational. Moreover, rumors suggest that the NeoPhysics team have developed some amazing technology during their long isolation in the nebula. More than a few expeditions were sent into Aethera to verify this, but none came back... FEATURES:Find out what the NeoPhysics scientists were up to in the Aethera nebula, in a completely new series of storyline quests, complete with voiceover. Modify a brand new special weapon system to best suit your destructive needs Outfit several new ships, available on Keppler Station, deep inside Aethera A new freelance mission is triggered by the Aethera experiments Gemini faces a new random global event: Ghost incursions Numerous new side missions are available to solve and to reap rewards New targets for Bounty Hunters beg to be hunted down

We also released free update prior to DLC which introduces many side missions and some other content for free so even if you don't buy DLC, feel free to check what's new in the game. :) Starpoint Gemini 2 is 50% off on Steam for 48 hours and DLC price is 5$ if anyone wonders. :)
