Elite Starfighter - choppy music on W7 64-bit

Hi! I'm trying to run Elite Starfighter under Windows 7 Home Premium 564-bit. Game works flalwessly except music - it's choppy and I can't discover, why. Had anybody similar problem and can help me?

Cant help much there, are you using motherboard integrated sound or a dedicated soundboard?

Sometimes making sure you have the latest drivers for this helps. I have never played this one so I don't think I could be much help here...
