Symphony of Stars

Post by Pinback »

Just come out on early access yesterday https://store.steampowered.com/app/973310/Symphony_of_Stars/ seems to be a VR only game, has an interesting premise if the game is developed but at the moment it looks more like a tec demo, still very cheap if you have the VR hardware to run it.

From Steam.
This is a bit of a concept piece. You start each game in a randomly generated solar system, and then are free to either fly around it or try to conquer it. There are other factions that will also be vying for control of the system (either with real players or just AI) and if you want to win, you'll need to secure your own territory and build bases of operations.

So it's a space combat game with the twist that you are also able to take and lose planets along your path to system domination!

Game came out a couple of days ago and it's very, very, very cheap, but then again probably not a lot to it.

Haha yeah at $2.54 on sale right now, I don't think making just VR games is very lucrative at this time.... maybe we will see a port for the normal pc gamers.
