Starfighter origins

What about starfighter origins?[url]http://www.starfighterorigins.com/news[/url] claimed this game it's a "wing commander like" but on steam i read only bad feedbacks. The main problem it's about input, the game support only gamepad and this is not a very good idea for a flying game.Has anyone tried it?

Isn't this the non VR version of CDF Starfighter?I haven't played this yet, it has a few negative reviews on steam right now but Shaun is continuing to patch the games so I am sure it will get better.
