Some fun trivia: The brain scan in the second video shows a possible vermis atrophy (shrinking of a part of the brain). Its leads to balance disturbances. Bad locomotion skills, disturbed reflexes, dizziness. This guy is a NOT a top starfighter pilot.The rest of the brain seems fairly normal. So possible causes for the focal atrophy could be alcoholism. Wouldn't want to have this guy as my wingman!

A new kickstarter is now going on for this game, check it out here: [url][/url] looks like they are looking to fund $150k and they are almost 25% there in the first 2 days so doing a lot better.Looks like they are getting more support this time (see what real gameplay videos get you), but still only multi-player only game :(Here is the kickstarter video:

looks like the kickstarter is starting to slow down and unless something major comes out I am doubtful that they will meet their goal since they are about 60% there now. Its going to be tough personally to get more space games through kickstarter just for the simple fact for over the past few years we have had hundreds of space and scifi game kickstarters and I think people are getting burned out. But I could be wrong.

Wonder how this will shape up against Infinity and weather their is room for two these similar types of games.

They have definitely changed directions from their kickstarter info I think after reading this again. I thought this game was long dead

Hadn't realised that this game was still chugging away in development. The In the Black website doesn't seem to get much love, or even the Impeller Studios one, but they seem to regularly put updates on their Kickstarter and Facebook pages - I should pay closer attention.

Yeah this game has been in some sort of development for the last 5 years, glancing over that kickstarter update it was nice to see the addition of bots. If I remember correctly this was going to mainly be multiplayer based game so bots are a must to hopefully keep your game alive. Multiplayer only games are tough to keep going, so I would hope that there will be a SP element to the game at launch or the ability to create your own servers where you could mod the game.
Only time will tell with this one, I think what is causing the long development is that they are adding VR support.

Hmmm looks like they are going the MP route only for the majority of the content, I hope they have a good bot system or this will be a short lived game.... when are devs going to understand that space gamers are a bit different from the fps crowd of gamers

Besides a few name changes over the years, this game has been in development a while now, if I remember this was only going to be a multiplayer title. I hope this does see the finishline and it is released on multiple platforms. Cause I do want this to be successful but I don't feel they are creating enough buzz around the game.
