Amazon is creating a Event Horizon tv series

Event Horizon was a good movie, I could maybe see like a mini-series to really get in-depth on the story aspect which the movie didn't touch on much. But what makes that movie special was the acting, it was superb and I doubt a remake to a tv series will recapture that feeling of watching this movie.... I could be wrong. But they need to really have that thriller/horror feel to the movie.

Looks like Amazon trying to really compete with Netflix.

Wow odd choice for a series and I have not seen the film in years, will have to hunt down a copy of it.
