I have uploaded some documents/tools that will allow people to hex-edit the FFED3D executable to change ship and ship upgrade stats. You can get the package here.One little modification people might be interested in is fixing the unarmed pirates. I have included instructions for this in the package.

um, well I wouldn't know, it's not me who makes Buffet. It's a guy called Whertz.I guess you saw that I posted in the Buffet thread at Frontier.co.uk too. Actually, Whertz himself had said he'd be interested if anyone had any info about modding things in the executable, like ship velocities. That's why I posted there. Maybe you mistook the last poster for the thread starter?:)
