Ah yes, I remember him. I also remember him in Blind Faith. Shame him, Ginger, Eric and Ric Grech only made one album. :(

Before Blind Faith, before Traffic, he was in the Spencer Davis Group.
A very talented musician, and Traffic were a great band.

Chicago Transit Authority did a good cover of that.

This was "borrowed" and became a classic rock number. I'd wager you'll know which one within seconds.

The IABD album is a cracker, especially if you like a bit of violin with your rock.
Talking of rock violin...

I saw Curved Air back in '70 - 'twas an awesome gig!

With things as they are these days.....I oftentimes find myself listening to songs that were written in hard times gone by. It's funny, a song written in the early 20th century can still say so much about today. In every sense, a true classic.

As a bonus, have a Willie Nelson classic, with Emmylou Harris - she can sing. Saw her once at the Hammersmith Odeon - great gig!
