Performing a update to wordpress and forum software this weekend 4/4-4/5

Hello Everyone
Sometime this weekend I will be backing up the SSC database and performing a update to the site.
Wordpress will have a major update 
Forum Plugin will have a minor update
I don't think there will be any issues but who knows until its done. But after looking at the fixes/additions I don't think it will cause a problem. As always there could be some theme related issues, just let me know if you spot any annoying issues or broken areas
And after the upgrade, you may need to flush browser cache or press ctrl-f5 when your on the site and that should flush the cache for you for the site after the upgrade is completed. I will will be dumping the site cache. But if you have issues make sure you flush your internet cache if you are having issues before reporting something.

Looked around the site after the upgrades and everything seems to be working okay so far. I even updated the server to now use PHP7.4 while I was at it.

Gaius here. Since the update I can no longer log in. 
If I put an incorrect password the site notifies me, if I put a correct one, the site just returns to the same screen when I attempt to log in. If I ask for a password reset, I click the link and am notified it is invalid. I was however able to re-register anew so I can post this.

Completely.Did that, didn't work, completely cleared my entire cache, and refreshed, didn't work, tried using a different browser, didn't work.
