Think they would have been better to put some time into making the space part of the game better.

Still haven't dived into this one yet, but this is a good feature because it will keep the population solid since now three different platforms can now play together, so in a way it creates a little more longevity. But I would agree with you, the biggest reason why I haven't purchased this one yet was because the space portion of the game seems a little week, and I am not a huge fan of just finding resources on planets and move to the next one.
