The deepest-known shipwreck

Talk about everything else that may happen in life that doesn't happen inside the real world of Space Gaming... is there really anything outside of Space sim/Combat Gaming?

The USS Johnston went down all guns blazing while engaging a vastly superior Japanese fleet. BBC article here.

Not so deep, but also a ship that went down fighting. Now a tourist diving site:

The Japanese battleship Yamato was involved in the Battle off Samar (where the Johnston went down).

She and her sister ship, Musashi, were the heaviest and most powerfully armed battleships ever constructed, displacing 72,800 tonnes at full load and armed with nine 46 cm (18.1 in) Type 94 main guns, which were the largest guns ever mounted on a warship.
