I got my hands on this game as well today. It's all Russian so I haven't started playing it yet. Wish there was something I could do about the Russian. If even just the menus were in English I could live with it.

Got a nice gaming rig how you like the X3? Where did you two get the game from,Iam looking for a box copy of the game not a DD version. Be nice if someone could post some vids of the space action.

What a effort that will be when its finally complete, I guess all we would need then is translated voice overs But just having the text would do wonders.

Looked on their website. I hope the guy keeps doing the translation and then upload its,now its just getting a copy of the game.

I hope both White Gold & The Precursors, get a proper release. I really liked "Boiling Point". It reminded me of the "Midwinter Trilogy" on my trusty Amiga.

I guess we will only see it if they can find a western publisher for the game. Never played Midwinter,but Precursors reminds me of Mercenary,must have spent as much time playing that as I did Elite.

They can choose to go, the digital download way. They don't have to publish a boxed product, if its difficult to find a western publisher.

They could do,but I think the otherforeign language games have all come through western online publishers so there may be some deal to it?.

Its a great fan site I will have to give Mercenary 3 another go,played it on the amiga 500 but found it a bit slowShame the pc version of Democles was never realsed.

This totaly blows. I've been waiting on this game for years, literally years, and now we have to wait for some fans to cobble together an English text translation before we can really enjoy playing? That's if we can get a copy of the game here?Arrrg, I tell you. AAARGGG.Boiling Point wasn't that bad, despite being the most buggy game in history. My PC struggled to get a reasonable frame rate out of it though so I gave up after not too long playing. Hopefully the Devs have learned a thing or two about coding games and this new batch wil be worth playing!

My thoughts exactly Stardreamer. I don't know how big the space gaming market is in Russia, but Deep Shadows has to know they can get to more audiences with a translated version. People want to buy this game but it can't found anywhere and a language barrier will deter a lot of them.Maybe if the devs read the postings on the web about Precursors maybe their minds will change.

I dont think anyone knows what Deepshadow current situation is,one of the mod on the forum said they were only keeping the forum going for nickolteen patch.

Hopefully it isn't a sign of bad news... would be a shame to not see a internationalized Precursors game. I did post on that site last week I thought, but I can't remember.
